You may have noticed we’ve been a bit old-school-obsessed lately…As it turns out, the 1930′s and 40′s not only gave us great hair trends but some pretty striking nail designs as well! This summer, we’ve been lusting over the half-moon manicure and didn’t realise until we partook in a little research that it is nothing new!
This nail style was the first design to be made popular after Cutex released the first commercial nail polish in 1917. The gals of the early 20th century were definitely on to something…So, why not try flipping your french manicure inside out and try re-creating some of the designs below? We’re bringing the crescent back and we think you should too!
