We wanna put it out there that we love these looks. Sometime’s something just clicks, you know what we mean?! You put on pieces that make you feel good and that’s what these did. Maybe it was the beaming sun, maybe it was the funky fresh flowers, maybe it was discovering a new cafe that is not only local but amazingly Instagrammable & sells awesome ice cream. Monies on the last one.

To try and decipher the love, let’s break down the anatomy of a good outfit:

Tops with a little bit of drama. That’s what we like. There are girls out there that go ga~ga over a plain tee, but not us. We like a lil’ sumthing sumthing when picking out a top, be it a great design detail, cute print or bold colour. This one with its picnic check and corset waist cinching tick all the trend boxes, while the slight 80s influence of this spotty number wouldn’t normally be our bag but the side ruching, wrap styling & mono print make it a really fun wardrobe addition. Both great for now and layered for Autumn.

Remember kitten heels from a few years ago?! Well they are back with a bang. Dior paved the way and we are loving the bevy of beauties that are hitting the high street, these leg lengthening sling backs in particular. There’s no denying heels make you feel put together and these low ones *whispers* are super practical, aswell as super stylish. A key shoe shape to be investing in for now through to warmer A/W days. Called it.

We’ve had a long love affair with Levi’s since the oldest known pair, found in a old mine dating from 1876 and worth $46,000 was bought into show us when we were studying at The London College of Fashion. As good as they were for those miners they are good for us now. You can’t beat a great well worn in pair of vintage Levi’s, but we are also loving their re~worked Altered styles. All the Vetements vibez with out the venormous price tag.

Basket bag has been THE bag to own this Summer and we are going to keep swinging ours come Autumn {weather permitting #soggystraw} Incase you wondered where the trend has sprung from just google Jane Birkin basket bag. The 70’s style icon carried no other handbag until her much loved basket broke and Hermes created the iconic bag named after her. Presuming none of us have a spare 6 grand to invest in a Birkin, the basket is the cooler option anyway.

These are our money spots, granted you guys will have your own comfort blanket style looks that always get the emoji thumbs up. Lucky for us we both feel the same #twinningiswinning after all.
