It’s been a little while but we are back! We wore these outfits last week when the sun was shining and thought they would make a great come back post! In truth when we were wearing these looks a lady stopped us in the street to ask us where our trench coats where from so thought you guys might be interested too!
At this time of year a trench coat is by far one of our top wardrobe staples, especially as the temperature warmers up slightly. Not only practical but eternally stylish we think everyone needs a Mac in their wardrobe. Start with a neutral and if you already own a basic tan shade why not consider another colour?! This pink one stole our hearts and so we had a little look online and have linked some other gorgeous coloured options.
Fun fact: The Mac came first in 1823 by Charles Macintosh and was made from a rubberised fabric while The Trench came almost 100 years later, designed by Thomas Burberry for the World War One soldiers. A trench coat normally features a shoulder storm flap panel and is chemically coated to make it rain proof.
Technicalities aside we highly recommend considering one, especially next time it rains so you don’t get Trenched!
