Ways to Wear Leopard Print

A rule has come to pass that leopard is no longer classed as a pattern and is infact a neutral. Just thought we’d let you know. Our love of leopard has been lingering for some time now and we probably own every garment in some sort of leopard format from boots to dresses to bags to pants. Well maybe not pants but here’s hoping!

As its such a common player in our wardrobes we thought we’d show you 4 ways to wear the most classic of all the animal prints for a little Spring inspiration. Hold tight if you want to stand out from the crowd and get spotted…..

With the snow being like so, last week we are now firmly in Spring mode. Slightly ignoring the single digit temperatures still but really the lighter, longer days are just around the corner and we couldn’t be happier. You with us?

Anyway…. less weather talk and more clothing talk.

We’ve both been slowly picking up pieces for the new season in true twinning fashion happened to both select leopard print items and we both agreed that they bypass trends and are forever items to adding your wardrobe. You can wear them in Winter toned down with black or at the height of Summer with pops of colour. You know which way we went with styling them… yes those colours were calling.

We adore leopard with tonal shades of camel and taupe and this high waisted, mega leg lengthening skirt ticked all the Spring boxes {plus will look equally fab with a simple white tee and chunky leather sandal come Summer} We are also allllll about pink and leopard which with think is probably the best combination since white wine and French fries. Probably. Maybe. A slouchy oversize sweater gives a pencil skirt and kitten heel a laid back, dressed down feel that we are always striving for. belle & bunty london bloggers streetstyle blog vintage style ways to wear leopard print margarita karenko

A button down shirt is a classic wardrobe staple and this one is a winner. Aswell as the above looks we styled it in 2 separate ways: one with a classic kick flare and new season cowboy boot for an everyday girl about town look. We then mixed the 2 leopard print pieces together to mimic a midi dress look, but with the prints not quite matching it gives a more modern relaxed feel. Don’t be too precious about trying to match prints as it will never happen in a million years and if you have an oversize top go for a slimmer fitting pencil skirt to balance out proportions.

So we think our love of leopard is well and truly declared in these outfits. If you are feeling our moves {like jaguar} then let us know!
