Woah, the Folkey Cokey

When the sun is shining our inner hippie’s come out to play and you can’t get us out of folky frocks or our embroidered boho blouses off our backs. So what’s a girl to do when the Winter chill sets in? How do you keep your bohemian roots without being folkin’ freezing?!?

Grab your boho dress that’s been kicking around since Spring {midi lengths are your bff}, layer with the fashion girls thermal: a co~ordinating polo, an oversize faux fur which haven’t left our shoulders since September 1st and this season’s longer length midi boots and there you have it: Folk with one part Gucci glamour and one part Marc Jacobs lady. Whether you are tall and lanky, or small and petite we champion the waist cinching belt to pull the look together and draw the eye to your smallest part.

Bare legs are the deal breaker, especially with this lovely warm berry and tan retro colour palette but if you can’t bare the cold then a sheer tight would work too. Alternatively you can dance around to keep warmer like we *may* have been doing off camera. We effectionately call it The Folky Cokey.

Put your left leg in, your left leg out…..
