Note to bride:
At Belle & Bunty we pride ourselves on giving the best customer service in a friendly, relaxed and calm environment. We absolutely love what we do and meeting the women that we create dresses for is a big part of that. As it’s not always possible to meet face to face we will be on hand for phone chats, zoom calls and we will recreate our friendly boutique experience in as best a virtual world as we can! When you place your order with us Alice or Hannah will be in contact with you within 24 hours to discuss your dress and all your requirements. Likewise, please feel free to contact us before making any decisions. Once you place your order with us you will receive swatches in the post and sketches where necessary and we will keep you updated at every stage of your outfits creation.
What we will need from you:
We will need your waist and hip measurement and the measurement from shoulder to floor. We will happily talk you through this process should you need that. Your skirt will then be made in our London sample room to your closest UK size.
It is more than likely your skirt will need alterations to ensure that you have the perfect fit and length. Our in-store tailor can hold fittings; however, if you are not London based you might want to have a tailor on hand. Again we can help recommend and talk any tailor through the alterations required and our recommended techniques. A typical alterations cost for a full bridal outfit with our tailor will cost an additional £150 to £250.
Once your skirt is ready:
We will send you videos of your piece or alternatively set up a zoom call so that you can see how it is looking on the hanger before it is safely packed away into a box or dress bag depending on your chosen delivery.
Your skirt will be couriered to you from our London boutique. Anyone in the London area is also welcome to collect directly from the boutique with prior arrangement.
Your skirt will come pressed, fully wrapped and packed with a dress bag and padded hanger. Once your piece arrives please hang it up. It will need a gentle steam after unpacking. We can offer advice on best practice depending on what you have available.
As all our pieces are pure silk we recommend a professional delicate dry-clean.
